Things I’ve been loving

Man it’s been a while since I wrote a post along these lines. Although tbh it’s just been a while since I consistently posted in general so maybe that’s the issue…

Either way, believe it or not, I love writing these posts. It’s a way for me to just chat to you guys about things I like and I just love how varied they can get. Sometimes they’re beauty heavy, sometimes they’re lifestyle heavy, sometimes they’re all PR samples, sometimes none are. Easy breezy, fun writing.

So, here are a few things I’ve been loving over the past couple of months!

Tropic Skincare mask mapping

I would forgive you for not knowing what mask mapping was – I didn’t until the lovely Tropic Skincare asked if I’d like to try it. Basically, it’s putting different kinds of face masks on different areas of your face to tackle different “problems”. They have a REALLY informative blog post on the whole thing, if you’re interested.

Anyway, they sent me their three masks and I’ve been trying them out for a little while. Sometimes by themselves, sometimes all three at once. My favourite is the Clear Skin Blemish-Fighting Mask*, because I have quite oily, blemish prone skin. But the other two (Deep Hydration Soothing Cooling Mask* and Face Lift Brightening Tightening Mask*) are also divine.

If you’re wanting to try mask mapping/multi-masking, these three are a really great place to start!

Garnier goodies

Three products from Garnier have made their way into my skincare routine over the past couple of months and I need to tell you about them! The Soothing Botanical Cleansing Milk with Rose Water* is an absolute dream and smells divine – it’s so gentle and it leaves my skin feeling absolutely incred. The Purifying Botanical Toner with Green Tea Leaves* is working wonders on any sneaky hormonal breakouts and the Botanical Day Cream with Green Tea Leaves* has been a miracle product for mattifying my skin during the day, whilst not drying it out.

Sudio headphones

I don’t know why I never treated myself to any bluetooth headphones before, because these puppies changed my life. The sound is great, they look the BUSINESS (very, VERY ~instagram~) and the lack of wires just make everything so much easier. If you’re in the market for some headphones, definitely add the Regent headphones* to your list! I even have a discount code for you – use ‘Rhiannaolivia15’ to get 15% off your order!

DKNY Nectar Love

I flipping love perfume. When I was younger I used to try stick with one or two in an attempt to gain a “signature scent” whereas now I try quite a few different ones. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll always end up going back to my ultimate faves (Thierry Mugler’s ‘Alien’ and YSL’s ‘Black Opium’, in case you were wondering), but I definitely like trying more now.

DKNY actually invited me to an event to celebrate the launch of Nectar Love*, but I couldn’t make it. *Sobs*. They were, however, kind enough to send me a bottle to try out! I love it so much, I’ve been wearing it every day for the past 2 months solid! It’s a little sweet, a little citrusy but also quite floral and for me it’s the perfect day time perfume.

This post looks so colourful! I really like the sound of your perfume and the head phones are proper dreamy. Been thinking of getting some myself instead of my in ears…

DKNY Be Delicious was probably my first “signature” scent, so I’d be interested to try the new one! I’m 100% a Marc Jacobs girl these days though…

Never heard of Tropic before but I will check them out! If you are enjoying Garnier atm then I fully recommend the bi phase eye make up remover they do!

I keep hearing how good the Garnier skincare products are and they sound great. Dan bought me some bluetooth headphones a while ago and they’re fab x
