I flipping love a good photo diary.
I think I say this in every single photo diary I do, but you know what people say… a picture says a thousand words.
Sigh, I know.
Anyway, in case you don’t follow me on social media (which you should, by the way), Joe and I recently got back from a week away in Rhodes. We went to Rhodes a few years ago, but didn’t really get to explore the island due to the fact we were literally staying in the middle of nowhere. But, this time around, we had a much more centrally located hotel so we managed to make it to Lindos and to Rhodes Town for some exploring.
We stayed in the most beautiful hotel in Kallithea (a full review is coming your way soon) and I basically never wanted to leave. You guys… we had a SWIM UP ROOM. A room in which we could swim up to. A room where our terrace ended and a pool began. I’m not gonna lie when I tell you it was absolute bliss, and it was the first time I’ve actually got in a pool on holiday in YEARS. (Context: I hate swimming).
We were all-inclusive, because that’s how we *do* holidays. And it was just what we needed – sunshine, cocktails, reading, food and relaxation. I came back so relaxed, it was wonderful.
I’ll be going into a little more detail about what we got up to, must-see areas, hotel reviews etc in the coming days/weeks. But when I asked on Twitter what sort of holiday content people enjoyed, SO MANY of you came back with “plz do a photo diary” so here you are.
Giving the people what they want.
So here is a small collection of photos from our holiday. (No, seriously. We took 500+ photos and I’m struggling to cut them down…) Make sure you keep checking my travel section, because there’s much more to come! <3
All photos either by me or by Joe
