I love doing round-up posts like this at the moment. Super informal, just chatting with you guys about things I’m really loving and things I think you should check out. Today’s is filled with brand new beauty finds that I’m loving and I can’t wait to tell you about them! Let’s just get right into it…
Natural World Brazilian Keratin Shampoo & Conditioner
First up, shampoo. My hair is a nightmare and I’m sure I’ve mentioned this in passing before. I’m naturally a dark blonde colour, but since dying my hair virtually non-stop since I was about 16, it’s quite damaged. Admittedly, it’s a lot better at the moment because I haven’t done anything to it in over a year. (Although I can’t say the same for my roots because WOW they’re down by my ears. Trying to convince myself I’m doing an ombré thing on purpose but actually I’m just too poor to get it re-highlighted…)
Because my hair, especially the ends of my hair, have seen a lot of bleach and colour and all that jazz in the past, it’s dry af. Irritatingly, I also have oily roots which makes finding hair products that suit both my roots and ends is really difficult.
I recently took part in an Instagram campaign with Takumi and Natural World, I was sent GIANT bottles of their Brazilian Keratin shampoo* and conditioner* and I’ve completely fallen in love with them. They got back in contact with me after I did the Takumi campaign and asked if I could feature them in a blog post as well and I was SO happy to oblige because I’m honestly obsessed.
Not only are they a really great size (I don’t think I’m ever going to need to buy shampoo ever again???) but they also leave my ends feeling super soft without making my roots greasier. A total winner from me! If you want to pick some up for yourself, you can get them from Tesco here and they’re only £4 for a litre bottle at the moment!
WhiteWash Laboratories Nano Whitening Kit
I’ve never really been into tooth whitening. Never tried any at-home products bar the occasional tube of generic branded whitening toothpaste. I started researching into teeth whitening not too long ago, but couldn’t find anything I was interested in. Then WhiteWash Laboratories emailed me asking if I’d like to try their Nano Whitening Kit*.
I was v intrigued because, unlike a normal one-off whitening treatment, their Nano Whitening Kit is a regime that you use in place of your normal tooth brushing regime. It means you don’t have to do anything extra and you don’t have to do anything you wouldn’t normally do anyway, which really REALLY appealed to me from the start.
The kit is a toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash and floss and to be honest, the results speak for themselves. I posted this photo on Twitter after only a couple of weeks of using the kit and I am AMAZED at the difference. Literally cannot fault it at all, I’m completely obsessed. If you want to try it for yourself, you can buy the kit or the individual products on their website. And you can get 10% off with the code ‘RHIANNA10’. You’re welcome.
Tropic Skincare’s Colour Click Lipsticks
Can I just talk about how much I love the packaging on these lipsticks for a second? They’re so fun and you can OPEN THEM WITH ONE HAND. So easy, so genius, so annoyed nobody else has thought of it first.
Tropic Skicare are my absolute babes – they absolutely never miss the target and every product I’ve ever tried from them has been amazing. These new lipsticks are absolutely no different. The colour selection is great, I’ve personally tried Peach Perfect* (the most perfect peachy nude colour) and Rosehip* (a sort of subtle, slightly sheer dark red colour) and I’m in love with them both.
The formula is gorgeous – creamy, lovely amount of pigment and super moisturising. They aren’t THAT long lasting, but because they’re a creamy/sheen formula, I didn’t expect them to last all day. If you’re looking for a new lippie to try out, definitely give them a shot.
And that’s it for now! I keep being sent/coming across/buying bits that I’m completely falling in love with, so I am sure it won’t be long until there’s another post of this format coming your way!
